ANCHORAGE, Alaska--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 01, 2002--Borealis Broadband announced today that it has completed establishing a wireless link to Eagle River, Alaska and is prepared to begin deploying services.  The company reports it is concentrating its service offering along the main business areas in Downtown Eagle River.

"We'll be able to offer high-speed business Internet services as well as high-speed data services between Anchorage and Eagle River," said Horst Poepperl, Borealis' General Manager, "and since it is a part of our Fringe network, pricing will be the same as in Anchorage."

The company plans to begin marketing the service and accepting subscribers in Eagle River beginning in August 2002.
